Antique Fair at Blakemere
Call in on Sunday 6th or Bank Holiday Monday 7th May and enjoy our small Antique Fair in the Fountain Area, 10am until 5pm with free admission and parking.
Peggotty’s Attic and The Antique Emporium are also open and have a host of quality pre 1970’s items on offer as well as collectables and quality bric-a-brac for the enthusiastic collector.
Family Fun this May Bank Holiday
Also on Sunday 6th and Bank Holiday Monday 7th May we have free Circus Workshops where you can learn how to juggle, spin plates, Diablo and more or try balancing and walking on water in orbs when Fantastic Inflatable’s return with their water balls – suitable for kids of all ages!
You can paint a pot, throw a pot on a Potter's Wheel, try candle dipping or decorate a cup or plate in Cheshire Craft Workshop every day; activities vary from £2 to £6 each. The Bead Trail is also running beading activities over the weekend (make a bracelet or necklace) for children aged 5 - 16, for just £1 plus materials with help from their friendly staff.
And don’t forget Barnaby’s Playbarn with its ball pools, slippery slide and rope bridges, our small fair rides and Thomas Land Train plus free Adventure Play Park and Cheshire Falconry’s daily Bird of Prey Flying Displays; ideal for all the family!
Cheshire Craft Workshop
Currently undergoing a minor refurbishment, Cheshire Craft Workshop is incorporating a dedicated Party Area within their unit which they hope to be completed by the end of May. They will offer a range of ‘Crafty’ Kids Parties including new ‘Build your own Bear’, so watch for further details!

Kitchen & Cookware
Cobblestone Bears & Gifts are now stocking a range of quirky kitchen and cookware items including fun gadgets like onion chopping goggles, silicone poached egg ‘shell’ holders, steak cooking gadget, orange peelers, mini measuring cups and lots more. Their range will increase over the next few months and customers are being asked to suggest other products they would like to see available.
After a lot of searching for the best wooden letters currently available……. Wozu are delighted to now be stocking the superb Animal Alphabet from Sevi. Beautifully designed and excellent quality, these letters retail for just £1.60 each!
Diamond Jubilee Celebrations
As part of Blakemere’s Celebrations for the Queens Diamond Jubilee, Blakemere is attempting to break the record for the longest piece of bunting in Cheshire. If you would like to get involved, whether as an individual, club or school we would love to hear from you. We can supply pieces of bunting for you to decorate and return, bring in your own, or you can design pieces in Cheshire Craft Workshop to add to the challenge!
Over the Jubilee weekend don’t miss our Food & Craft Festival with stalls full of local Cheshire products, a free Circus Workshop and fantastic Street Party on Tuesday 5th in The Courtyard, with bunting, games, entertainment, music and more.
