There are a variety of fun and creative activities ideal for children at Blakemere throughout the year, plus extra activities during school holidays and during the festive season. Birthday Party packages are available from each, please contact them directly to discuss your requirements.
Cheshire Craft Workshop (formally known as The Potter’s Wheel)
They are open daily between 10am and 5pm, offering children a variety of craft activities from candle dipping and pottery painting to badge making, candle decorating and throwing a pot on a Potter’s Wheel. There are also seasonal activities, ideal for special events such as Mother’s Day, Easter, Father’s Day, Halloween and Christmas to name a few.

The Bead Trail
During the School holidays The Bead Trail run beading activities for children, aged 5 to 16. For a small fee of £1.00 plus materials your child can design and construct their own bracelet or necklace with the help of one of their friendly staff.
Please note that they advise you to ring and check if activities are available at the weekend or during school holiday dates as they are not able to offer this service if they have a course or private party booking taking place.

Thimbletown
During school holidays Thimbletown run a variety of craft activities for children within their unit, including dry felting, sewing, knitting, making corsages, covering buttons & Suffolk puffs, making mobile phone covers and drawstring bags.
Please note these activities are not always available but different activities are scheduled throughout the year.

Barnaby’s Playbarn
Barnaby's Playbarn offers a clean stimulating environment in which children can burn off all that energy while exploring their surroundings and developing social skills. Cheshire Falconry
Cheshire Falconry is a national birds of prey centre and one of the leading falconry centres in the United Kingdom. Outdoor Adventure Play Area
Come along and have lots of fun on our ‘free’ outdoor adventure play area. With slides, climbing frames, swings, raised bridge and stepping stones that are suitable for children aged from 2 to 11 years there’s plenty of fun to be enjoyed!
Entertainment
Every Bank Holiday weekend we have free entertainment in the cobbled courtyard area.
On Bank Holiday Sunday's and Monday throughout the year, come and learn new skills in our free Circus Workshops from 11.30am to 4.30pm, including juggling, plate spinning, Diablo, stilt walking and uni-cycling. Our hands on workshop team are there to guide you and help you with a variety of skills.

Cheshire Actors Studio
The Cheshire Actors Studio is a 40 seat studio theatre and rehearsal rooms set in the heart of Blakemere Craft Centre and is home to three acting ensembles - the Cheshire Actors Studio Theatre Company, the Studio Players and the Studio Youth Theatre.

Drama for 7-11 years
Make new friends, build your confidence and have fun expressing yourself. This workshop focuses on learning acting technique through simple story telling, improvisation and theatre games.

Drama for 11- 18 years
Actor training and performance workshop. This class works towards offering regular performance opportunities infront of a live theatre audience.
